Stanley is one of my favorite places on earth, one of my retreats to relax and soak up the beauty of Idaho. Any outdoor activity is at your fingertips, while doing it all in the shadow of one of the most incredible mountain ranges tucked away in Central Idaho. I’ve been coming up to Stanley since I moved to Idaho, and my appreciation for this place only grows the more time that I spend there. Situated in the middle of one of the few Dark Sky Reserves, it is a favorite spot to photography the night sky. Incredible photography opportunities are around every corner, everywhere you look. Over the years I have been able to capture scenes across the seasons, here are a few of my favorites - but they just don’t seem to be able to do this amazing place justice.
